Loved the 2 zippered pockets, great fit, nice & sheer, deff gotta wear thongs under em ???Either the shorts are too small or I’m too large but the waistband continues to roll. The length is just fine and the zipper pocket comes in handy however I continue to have to pull the shorts up in the rear and unroll around my waist. They are definitely compression shorts however less comfortable than I’m used to.Some advise when comes to these would be give it a cold wash before use, I feel it really made a difference in the way the fabric felt. So first let me get to the pros; They feel great offer support while also not being too hot. The best thing is if you have any trouble with chafing these will def help. I'm not a big fan of long underwear but these weren't too bad. My biggest gripe with the underwear is the zipper pockets. Yes they offer more security to anything you may have in there, However I found it difficult to open and close them. Pretty much had to hike up my shorts all they way up to get in there.Purchased for my son who’s constantly losing or leaving behind personals that cant be kept safe in open pockets on short.. it’s driving me crazy!! After having to replace drivers license, key fob (neither is cheap to do btw!!) his bank card and cash- I went looking for a solution for when he’s in his workout mode… Anawakia compression shorts were our salvation!!Fit as expected- ordered XL and for comparison: he’s 19yo, 6’5”, 189, 33x36 with an active but not overly athletic build as he’s just coming into that adult/manly body.. he got height first!! He prob. could have fit a large- but, XL will provide room to fill out on his athletic grind of late! At least he’ll be doing so without losing his gear- Yay!! Didnt realize short had dual zip pockets so, a total bonus! Pocket is just wide enough to fit a cell phone and has no issue fitting ID/debit size wallet and/or key fob for sure! Zipper’s smooth like butter and doesn’t catch on edges- shorts really have a lot of attention to quality and detail.Mine wears like underwear with basketball shorts and they hug nice to body allowing him to do so w/out excess bulk.. fit is ideal he also pairs under his adidas athletic pant without issue. The slick and soft material is non irritating and provides support in all the right places lending confidence to keep junk in its place- without the look of revealing too much! That’s always a good thing.. Whew!Could see this being ideal for those carrying some extracurricular items they don’t want found or exposed.. not suggesting- Just saying!! Overall, I’m so impressed for a price point of $12 these are a great solution made solid. I ordered him these shorts in a medium based on length, and he likes the way they fit. However, they aren't exactly right on his super slender legs. He wanted them for lounging around the house/everyday wear, so compression isn't important to him. He says the length is hit him mid thigh and the waist is comfortable without being too loose. He says the size is perfect for him.Not as tight as most compression shorts, these are more like tight fitting underwear with a comfortable waistband. The material is thinner and cooler in the heat. Fit and sewing is as expected and good. The thigh pockets are nice, however I feel the zipper heads can be a bit loose and wiggle around and "pokey" and I wish they were able to be locked in a flat down position or a more stable seam to tuck them into so they didn't stick up randomly and snag on mesh shorts that I wear over them. This is less of an issue when the pockets remain unzipped.Less usable for sport/ workout than I hoped, but will make good boardshort liners this summer.Not seeking compression shorts, I got just what I sought: athletic shorts with roomy pockets.
