I ordered these shorts with the intention of them being my second pair. I chose the mint green color and it's really amazing in person. The color has a slight fade and isn't to "loud". For context, I usually ride the Fox ranger shorts. compared to those, these are slightly longer in length, as well as ever so slightly wider in the legs. Not a bad thing, just something to note. One thing not really shown is the mechanism to tighten the shorts. I ordered a 30 and its more of a 30-32. There is a buckling strap/snap thing on the left side. At first I was a little put off by it but once I snugged it up it actually kept the shorts nice and snug. There were like 6 or 7 "tightness" options which was actually really impressive and flexible. The one major downside and kind of weird part is the pocket placement. The pockets are zippered which is great but the pockets sit right on top of your legs..and they are not very big. I use trail forks a lot on new trail systems and my phone will not fit in those pockets which makes it tough for easy access. Its an odd choice.Over all I am really with these shorts. They look awesome, feel great and are super adjustable. The only downside is the pockets! These are slim fit, defenetly won't fit padded shorts underneath unless u size up.Defenetly not dh shorts more like trail.
