I read over several reviews and worried these might be too tight. The recommended size was a 38 for me which is 4 sizes bigger than I'd normally wear, so I decided to take a chance and go down to a 36, since Chinese sizing is usually off. I'm glad I did because even at the 36 these were probably true to size and fall off of me. A belt fixes that, but I'd go with a 34 next time.The pattern is so awesome and the color is exactly what I was expecting, unlike so many other pieces of clothing I've bought on Amazon lately.The material is heavy and thick but I do fear it could tear if a lot of stress was put on it.Thankfully, the crotch area was also baggy on my pair, so I don't have the trouble the other guy reviewing did. Maybe they took his review to heart and adjusted it? I like to think that other than the alternative. :)I would recommend these and plan to buy another color before Summer is over.These are nice, thick, solidly constructed shorts. Highly recommend. Fits perfectly and not close fitting.Very niceI like heavy short material. These I would call meadum weight at best but they are ok.Ordered a green and a blue in size 32. Both arrived in good time. The green fit me so well, i love them. The blue however are like 2 sizes too big and are falling off me, mybe a 36??? . Sure, the label says 32, but something is just not right. Tried to replace them, but there was no more inventory. Tried to return them but it wont let me. Sucks because i’m now stuck with a pair tuat i cant wear. Hoping that the company will reach out to me and resolve this. If so, i will definitely update my review, but for now the glass is only 50 % full.
