The black gym shorts (3 pair) are well made and as good as I hoped they would have been. Thank you for all of that. I want to let you know as you seem to care that if the manufacturer had spent just another .125 cent on the waist band strings giving them another 4 inches my life would have been easier during the time my wife and I spent replacing those damn short waist strings.I hate to bitch but O God that was frustrating. Like the shorts, though...DavidThese are nice shorts. I chose good. I have a 48-50" waist and my clothes are 3X. These fit fine. The first time on I thought maybe a little close, but after a few minutes of walking in them they fit quite nicely. Easy to move around in. The "Olive Drab" is a little heavy on the "drab", but the Slate Blue are quite sharp, if I say so myself. Lookin' good. Feelin' good.Fits well. I would have preferred that the drawstring be on the outside, like the picture of the product, so that it would be easier to tie, but the elastic waistband allows me to keep the drawstring tied on the inside and still easily put on and take off the shorts.I have a 28" inseam, these shorts have a short inseam which is one of the things I have a hard time finding when looking for shorts, most end up way past my knees. But the length from waist to where the inseam starts is unusually long, a smaller size would be too tight.Love these shorts for going to the gym, working around the house, etc. they fit well, the elastic waist holds without being too snug and the drawstring keeps the in place while running. Love the pockets ,they are deep enough that my ID doesn't fall out while exercising.Great buy for the price...navy is my favorite color out of these.They are made very well, everything about them are top notch, because of reviews telling of them being a bit small I bought a 2X and by my surprise these were too small, so I ordered an other pair at 3X ( the largest) and they also were too small. I'm just going to give them to my grandson....and I'm not over weight by any means.This product was made of material of good quality. This is obvious. The workmanship in putting the product together was also top of the line. I have only one criticism. That concerns the email message I received stating that the company is "thriving to deliver the absolute best shopping experience on the web." Do you really mean "thriving"? Do you know what it means? If you are not sure about the meaning, then either look it up or forget about using the word.I had read some of the reviews before I ordered that gave me some good information. Reviewers suggested that you order one size bigger because they ran a little small but even ordering a larger size didn't seem to help. They were still smaller than I needed. But as far as the order itself, I received my order much quicker than I expected. I didn't have a problem when ordering, in fact it was a very nice smooth process. So my rating has to do with the sizing alone.
